Air Madagascar CEO Hugues Ratsiferana was in Marseille on 24 June to promote the carrier’s new routes into the southern French airport. The carrier will add weekly flights to Nosy Be in Madagascar and Moroni in the Comoros.
- Air Madagascar will add to its existing Antananarivo operations in Marseille (MRS), by offering services to Moroni (HAH) in Comoros and Nosy Be (NOS) in Madagascar. Weekly (Thursdays) flights to Moroni began on 26 June, whereas weekly (Sundays) operations to Nosy Be started on 29 June. The flights, which both face no competition, will actually originate in Marseille, as they will utilise a 227-seat EuroAtlantic Airways 767-300 which is based at the French airport for both flights.
