On 24 June, Finnair’s A319 arrived for the first time at Biarritz Airport from Helsinki. This route is operated twice-weekly until 9 August.
- Finnair, the flag carrier and largest airline of Finland, commenced operations to its third French destination on 24 June, launching twice-weekly flights (Tuesdays and Saturdays) from its Helsinki (HEL) hub to Biarritz (BIQ). The 2,581-kilometre sector will be operated by the carrier’s 138-seat A319s until 9 August and will face no competition from other airlines. Finnair already flies to Paris CDG with 37 weekly flights and to Nice four times weekly from Helsinki.
