Zagrosjet zips into Amsterdam and Munich from Iraq

Arriving passengers on the first Zagrosjet flight between Erbil and Amsterdam were given a traditional Dutch gift of tulips. Bert Stroboer, Account Manager Aviation Amsterdam Airport also had the opportunity to give some to Zagrosjet Commercial Director Kraker Gardi.

  • Zagrosjet launched its eighth and ninth routes (and sixth and seventh into Europe) from Erbil (EBL) this week, with services to Amsterdam (AMS) and Munich (MUC) started. The former commenced on 26 June, will operate weekly (Thursdays), and will face direct competition from transavia.com, which offers the same weekly frequency. The latter was launched on 28 June, will operate weekly (Saturdays), and will face direct competition from Germania, which again offers the same weekly frequency. Both flights are operated by Zagrosjet’s 182-seat A320s.
