- easyJet started a new route to France this week – a thrice-weekly operation to Brest (BES). The seasonal service, which operates until 6 September, has become the airline’s 103rd destination from its biggest base at London Gatwick (LGW), and its 14th in France. Begun on 12 July, the 428-kilometre sector will be operated by the LCC’s fleet mainstay – its 156-seat A319s – and will encounter no direct competition.
