- Mango launched services between Lanseria (HLA) and Durban (DUR) on 15 October. The 513-kilometre sector will be operated twice-daily by the carrier’s 737-800s. The domestic link between the two cities will face direct competition from kulula.com, which has a 36 times weekly operation on the airport pair. The latest link for Mango is the first route launch for the carrier since November 2013, with this new service being the carrier’s ninth domestic link in South Africa, and tenth route overall. The LCC was first established in 2006 and a further analysis of its network and growth was recently undertaken by anna.aero.
