TAROM launched services between Iasi and Munich on 25 October with a twice-weekly operation. On hand for the celebration were: Alexander Rubel, Director of the Centre of German Culture, Universitatea Alexandru Ioan Cuza Iasi; Marius Bodea, President of Iasi Airport, and Georgeta Dinu, Head of Corporate Communications, TAROM; along with some of the airline’s crew.
- TAROM commenced services between Iasi (IAS) and Munich (MUC) on 25 October. The twice-weekly service will operate on Thursdays and Sundays according to OAG Schedules Analyser, and be flown using the carrier’s 737-300s. The 1,188-kilometre route will not face any direct competition from incumbent carriers. Munich becomes the seventh scheduled route for the airline from Iasi, with Istanbul Atatürk becoming the eighth with planned services expected to commence on 9 December.
