Ukraine International Airlines expands from regional Ukraine

Warsaw Chopin celebrated the start of Ukraine International Airlines services from Vinnytsia with traditional route launch cake. Services on the 626-kilometre link will be flown twice-weekly (Mondays and Fridays) facing no incumbent.

  • Ukraine International Airlines commenced service on four routes this week, with three from Ivano-Frankivsk (IFO) to Alicante (ALC), Gdansk (GDN) and Valencia (VLC), while Vinnytsia (VIN) gained a connection to Warsaw Chopin (WAW). All three services from Ivano-Frankivsk will be flown on the airline’s E190s, while flights from Vinnytsia to the Polish capital will be flown on the carrier’s 737-500 fleet based on OAG Schedules Analyser data. Operations between Ivano-Frankivsk and Valencia will increase to twice-weekly on 18 July. All four routes are seasonal summer only operations with none of the route quartet facing direct competition.
