Okinawa Airport welcomed the arrival of Jetstar Asia’s first flight from Singapore on 17 November with a traditional fire truck water arch salute. Flights on the 3,742-kilometre sector will operate three times per week on its A320s and there is no direct competition. Okinawa becomes the carrier’s second destination in Japan during W17/18.
