Braathens Regional Airlines vaults from Vaxjo into Berlin

Vaxjo Airport heralded the start of Braathens Regional Airlines flights to Berlin Tegel with a ribbon cutting ceremony on 30 March. Having the honour of officially opening the route by conducting the ribbon cutting are Ulf Axelsson, CEO of Vaxjo Airport and Johannes Jarz, Vaxjo Station Manager, Braathens Regional Airlines.

  • Braathens Regional Airlines inaugurated flights between Vaxjo (VXO) and Berlin Tegel (TXL) on 30 March. The airline will offer a twice-weekly (Fridays and Sundays) service between the Swedish and German airports using its fleet of ATR 72-600s. This becomes the airline’s second service from Vaxjo, with it already operating a domestic service to Stockholm Bromma. No other airline currently operates between Vaxjo and Tegel.
