In his first industry appearance, speaking at the ACI EUROPE-ACI World Annual Congress in Istanbul, Dr Temel Kotil clarified that Turkish Airlines will not be launching direct services from Europe to Australia – he will use a hub like Singapore instead.

easyJet launched its second new service to Moscow Domodedovo in 9 days, this time from Manchester. anna.aero’s Marc Watkins witnessed this momentous event – and brought cake!!
anna.aero had the opportunity to spend 30 seconds with Heathrow Airport’s Executive Commercial Director Fidel Lopez as well as CCO, Guy Stephenson from competing hub London Gatwick – just 55km across town. Both want more runway capacity for their respective airports, but seemingly only one will get it.
