SpiceJet celebrates growth award; London City sponsors Irish Olympic athlete; Ryanair wedding couple returns after 10 years

London City Airport is gearing up for the Olympics by attracting Irish passengers to the airport located close to the Olympic village. Meanwhile, celebrations have taken place at SpiceJet in India that just won our Asian ANNIE award for its fast route growth and in Bergamo in northern Italy, where it now has been 10 years since Ryanair’s first flight – which featured an on-board wedding.

easyJet threw a big bash with a special flight to celebrate reaching 50 million passengers in Switzerland, offering Michelin star food and entertainment. Meanwhile, there have been further celebrations in Las Vegas, at Brussels Charleroi and Helsinki Airport.
