Who produces anna.aero?
anna.aero – Airline Network News & Analysis – is real airline network analysis and intelligence generated by real network planners for use by any airline or airport worldwide. It is totally free of charge.

anna.aero is edited by Ralph Anker
Previously Ralph was…
- Head of Network Planning at Go before its acquisition by easyJet (where he remained a member of the Network Planning Team until end-2002).
- Head of Business Development at Maersk Air Ltd (2000-2001)
More recently…
- Consultancy for dba, SkyEurope (oops), Airbus…
- Edited jetOne 2004-2006.
- Followed by a return to Cranfield University where he had been a lecturer and researcher for most of the 1990s.

Paul J. Hogan – Publisher
Raised in Coventry when it was the centre of British car manufacturing, Paul began his career in the motor industry in the press office of FIAT. Aside from washing and crashing a lot of cars he has also indulged a passion for Eastern Europe as the publisher of the Hungarian Financial Review (for De Benedetti) and for Euromoney’s Central European. But for most of his career he has been serving a life sentence in aviation publishing as managing editor of The Avmark Aviation Economist (“where I learnt everything I know”), and at PPS Publications where he has been centrally involved in the official publications for ACI EUROPE, ACI North America, the International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores, the Tax Free World Association, the European Regions Airline Association, and the UK Airport Operators Association. He was also publisher of jetOne before it metamorphosised into anna.aero. For his mid-life crisis Paul became a fanatical runner and triathlete and plans to complete his fourth London Marathon this year in under 3hr30.
Business Development

Jon Lassetter – Business Development Manager
Jon is responsible for the commercial development of anna.aero – championing a performance which recently saw the number of airports in The Route Shop pass the 100 milestone. Jon has spent a decade in airport publishing mainly for Washington-based PPS Inc where he was VP Commercial for ACI North America’s Centerlines magazine. Jon now works all over the world but has strong ambitions to build anna.aero’s US business. He likes nice cars – a lot – and was therefore overwhelmed to have won a Ferrari as PPS’ ‘Salesperson of the Year 2009′ (he has to give it back at the end of the loan weekend).
Editorial

Andreas Åkerman – Assistant Editor
A native of Varberg (Sweden), Andreas started his aviation career several years ago at the sharp end of customer focus in Virgin Atlantic’s call centre, sparking an interest which took him (via a spell at Star Alliance in Frankfurt) to Cranfield University from which he holds an MSc in Air Transport Management and was awarded the easyJet Prize for Leadership and Initiative. Andreas also has a BA in English from Sweden’s Lund University and also speaks Italian, German, Norwegian and Danish (although we are not qualified to test all these claims).

Ryan Ghee – Assistant Editor
Ryan Ghee is our secret weapon in obtaining strange and exotic route launch photographs. A holder of a BA (Hons) in Multi-Media Journalism from Bournemouth University, Ryan truly is a tenacious investigative reporter of “private investigator” school. His motto in chasing down our material is borrowed from Churchill: “Never, Never, Never, Never give up.”

Ross Falconer – Chief Sub
Ross is another PPS long-timer having served working on everything we do. He is totally reliable with the most amazing recall for facts and spellings. He checks all our work to keep us legal. If it’s wrong, he’s the guy who goes to prison.
Accounts

Kerry Parks – Office & Accounts Manager
If you have any questions at all, if you are not getting anna.aero regularly, or need to speak to one of the team but can’t, if you have lost your way, or just want to give us cash, Kerry is the most efficient member of the team. If she can help, she will.
Web, Design & Marketing Team

Keith Bateup – E-Commerce & Web Development Manager
www.aero.aero is managed and delivered by Keith. His interest in web development started many years before Web 2.0, back when the only internet browser available was Netscape Navigator. The first website he created was a fanzine for the Simpsons, where he dabbled in the latest internet technologies, mainly animated gifs. Since then his passion has developed into a successful career helping business exploit the benefits of e-commerce including several years in the financial community.

Richard Jende – Flash Designer
This is Richard’s job title, not a reflection of his wardrobe (although he does dress very nicely). Richard is a superb graphic designer with over five years experience of working with PPS’ air transport clients. He is also wizz-kid at using Flash and he does all those superb animations that are the hallmark of anna.aero. He also devised clever Route Shop branding and the graphic design behind anna.aero 2.0.

Sheng Pang- Reader Relations Manager
Sheng’s role is to drive the readership of anna.aero to ensure that our substantial databases of other important people are utterly brilliant, and to generally strive to make sure that anna.aero is read by as many good people as possible.
Raised in Guangzhou in China’s booming Pearl River Delta, Sheng came to the UK in 2006 to take a master’s degree in e-Commerce Management from the University of Warwick. After graduation, Sheng worked as an online marketing specialist in the internet retail industry before bringing his considerable cyber skills to anna.aero. Unsurpringly Sheng, who is fluent is both Mandarin and Cantonese, is also our China specialist for absolutely any anna.aero activities pertaining to China.
Recently married, the Shengs spend most of their weekends exploring what he describes as: “the good-old English countryside.”
