Denmark’s Copenhagen Airport is renowned for its slick B2B aviation marketing…yet it has taken until the fourth year of the Arch of Triumph competition to claim its first-ever win. A further 12 airports also sent us their offerings this week.
Milan Bergamo’s firefighters now have three Arch of Triumph certificates on the fire station walls – having won previously in June 2014 and December 2015. The Italian airport is clearly not going to settle with that tally, as it has another entry this week. See if it manages to secure back-to-back wins.

Narrowly beating the Ryanair cake created in Newcastle, Cologne Bonn secured the Cake of the Week Public Vote Part I for its Wizz Air route launch cake. 32 more entries have been received over the last seven days, as the world’s airports look to become the Part II victor – scrumptious!
Oslo Airport outdoes its opposition to win the Part I of Arch of Triumph Public Vote; Now it’s S17 launches – Part II
Nearly 600 votes were cast to determine who the world thinks performed the best FTWA to mark the start of S17 ‒ with Oslo Gardermoen’s firefighters coming out on top. Europe’s fire stations still reign supreme, as the Norwegian airport becomes the region’s tenth straight winner in the Public Votes.
