Cathay Pacific Airways announces Brussels, Copenhagen and Dublin; Geneva, Birmingham and Lisbon now top unserved European markets

Cathay Pacific Airways has announced that from S18 it will start serving Brussels, Copenhagen and Dublin from Hong Kong. Now that these European capital cities have been announced, it means that Geneva, Birmingham and Lisbon have become the top unserved destinations in Europe from Hong Kong.

Airbus and Boeing in June delivered 139 aircraft between them, down three units when compared to the same month of 2016. However, the results for June are much better than the 116 units delivered in May. Among the delivery highlights of June were easyJet’s first A320neo and Norwegian’s first two 737 MAX 8s.

Airbus and Boeing in May delivered 116 aircraft between them, down 12 units when compared to the same month of 2016. The fifth month of this year also marked the first time since December that Airbus has outperformed its North American counterpart in relation to monthly deliveries, handing over four more aircraft.

Airbus and Boeing end 2016 with record month; Airbus passes 100+ unit deliveries for a single month; Lufthansa welcomes its first A350

During December Boeing and Airbus distributed 178 aircraft, over 12% of both companies’ combined delivery total for 2016. This was the first time in recent history that both had delivered 170+ aircraft in a given month. December was also the first month that one of the manufactures past 100+ unit deliveries.
