This week, the world’s 64 new routes have had a global spread, with every continent represented with multiple new routes. US airports have seen the most launches, but the week has also seen landmark events elsewhere, such as the opening of a brand-new airport in Tibet and the first international route in 18 years at a Brazilian airport.
