This week’s exclusive anna.aero farewatch looks at fares between Milan Bergamo and Bucharest Baneasa. Considering that both of these airports are secondary airports in their region it is something of a shock to discover three LCCs vying for supremacy on this route. Blue Air, MyAir.com and Wizz Air all offer between four and six weekly frequencies on the route.

Wizz Air is usually the cheapest on the days when it operates and is the only carrier that operates a Saturday flight. However, its one-way fares between Milan and Bucharest on Saturday 7 June are much higher than on any other day. Each of the three carriers is sometimes the cheapest and at other times the most expensive on days when competition exists. A simple average across all flights operated by all airlines reveals that the average one-way fare is around €93.
It should be noted that while Wizz Air has just one fare-class MyAir.com has two and Blue Air has several, each with slightly different terms and conditions. For this analysis the cheapest available fare has always been used.
