Canada may be just about the only country in the world where all of its top 10 airports are still reporting year-to-date passenger growth. However, Winnipeg has now reported traffic falls in each of the last four months which could soon affect its year-to-date performance. Calgary and Montreal also reported a reduction in passenger numbers in August.

In July, Ottawa overtook Halifax to be the fastest growing of Canada’s major airports. Growth at Canada’s busiest airport, Toronto Pearson, has remained strong. In each of the last three months traffic has grown by at least 3%.
