AeroMexico resumes route between Guadalajara and Fresno
- AeroMexico launched a new service to the US on 4 April when the SkyTeam carrier connected Guadalajara (GDL), Mexico’s second-largest metropolitan area, and Fresno, CA (FAT). Flights operate daily with 124-seat 737-700s. The route to the city in northern California launches only ten days before the same route will be launched by low-cost carrier Volaris four times a week. The route was previously operated by Mexicana between March 2006 and its demise in August last year, reportedly successfully so, gaining load factors of around 90%.
