Jeju Air launches third route to Osaka Kansai; now flies from Jeju Island
Jeju Air’s third route to Osaka Kansai was welcomed to the Japanese airport. After the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, airport representatives presented the airline representatives with flowers.
- Jeju Air, the South Korean regional airline, on 22 June added another Japanese route as the airline connected the tropical ‘honeymoon island’ of Jeju (CJU) south of the Korean peninsula with Osaka Kansai (KIX). Flights operate three times weekly – on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays – with 737-800s, competing with Korean Air’s daily service. This is Jeju Air’s third route to Osaka Kansai, which the airline already serves from the two Seoul airports Incheon and Gimpo.
