Air Mauritius launches new route to Shanghai Pudong
- Air Mauritius became the first African airline to serve Shanghai as the airline on 4 July connected Mauritius (MRU) with Shanghai Pudong (PVG). Flights operate via Kuala Lumpur, a destination already served by the airline; however, Air Mauritius has no traffic rights between Malaysia and China. Flights operate once a week with 275-seat A330-200 aircraft.
