easyJet launches two new seasonal routes: Paris to Brindisi and Madrid to Menorca
- easyJet launched two new seasonal routes in the last week, using its 156-seat A319s. On 2 July, the low-cost carrier connected the French capital airport Paris Orly (ORY) with Brindisi (BDS) in southern Italy. Flights operate three times weekly until 27 August. Two days later, easyJet launched a domestic Spanish route between the country capital Madrid (MAD) and Mahon (MAH) on the Balearic island of Menorca. Until 3 September, the route will operate four times a week. The latter route is highly competitive, with easyJet facing Iberia’s 13, Vueling’s 11, Spanair’s 10 and Air Europa’s also 10 flights a week.
