Firefly launched a new route between Kuala Lumpur and Sibu on Borneo
- Firefly, Malaysia Airlines’ regional subsidiary, launched a new domestic route out of Kuala Lumpur (KUL) on 1 July. The airline now flies twice-daily to Sibu (SBW) on Borneo, competing with AirAsia’s thrice-daily service and daily flights on parent Malaysia Airlines. Firefly’s flights are operated with 189-seat 737-800s.
