Egyptair launches new route to Port Said from Cairo
- Egyptair on 31 July relaunched services to Port Said (PSD) by the inlet to the Suez Canal on the Egyptian Mediterranean coast. The Star Alliance airline now operates the domestic service from its Cairo (CAI) hub twice-weekly with Egyptair Express’ 76-seat E-170 aircraft. The airline last operated the route in 1995-1996 and the airport, which recently underwent modernisation works, has been without a scheduled commercial service since. For more information about the Egyptian market, see this week’s country analysis.
