Korean Air now serves Huangshan Tunxi International Airport from Seoul

Korean Air was welcomed to Huangshan in Eastern China with a fire-truck salute, after which the crew, airline and airport staff posed with a banner commemorating the launch of the new route. Inside the terminal, the celebrations continued with speeches.

  • Korean Air expanded its network to China on 28 July when the SkyTeam airline connected its Seoul Incheon (ICN) hub with Huangshan (TXN) in eastern China. Flights on the 1,150-kilometre route operate twice-weekly with 737-900 aircraft, competing with Asiana’s also twice-weekly services.
