Iberia launches a new service between Menorca and Marseille
- Iberia on 2 August launched a new weekly service between the Balearic island of Menorca (MAH), and Marseille (MRS) in the south of France. The route is operated by Air Nostrum using 50-seat CRJ200 aircraft. Air Nostrum also operates a weekly flight from Menorca to Nice, located only 155 kilometres east of Marseille. Marseille is already served by Iberia from Barcelona, Madrid and Ibiza. The airline has recently expanded its regional services between the Balearic Islands and the south of France. Previously launched this summer were a weekly service between Palma de Mallorca and Nimes (on 23 July), as well as the twice-weekly service from Ibiza to Marseille (on 24 July).
