Firefly launches new route from Johor Bahru to Surabaya in Indonesia
- Firefly, the regional subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines, on 14 August began flying four times weekly between Johor Bahru (JHB), the city on the Malaysian border to Singapore, and Surabaya (SUB), Indonesia’s second-largest city. Flights operate with 162-seat 737-400s. The route was last operated by AirAsia, which dropped its services last year.
