- Eastern Airways, the British regional airline, launched a new route from Glasgow (GLA) in Scotland to Stavanger (SVG) on Norway’s west coast on 12 September. This is the airline’s third route to the Norwegian oil city after flights from Aberdeen and Newcastle. A weekly service from Glasgow is operated non-stop, while two further flights a week are operated via Aberdeen. 50-seat Saab 2000 aircraft are used on the route.
