- IndiGo continued its rapid international expansion, having recently secured rights to operate outside of India. The airline’s third international service, launched on 15 September, makes it the only low-cost carrier on the route between Delhi (DEL) and Singapore (SIN); however, JetLite previously operated the route between 2005 and 2008. IndiGo now operates daily with its 180-seat A320s, competing with twice-daily flights on Singapore Airlines as well as each daily services on Air India and Jet Airways. On 10 October, IndiGo plans to launch a second route to Singapore from Mumbai.
