Donavia now flies to St Petersburg Pulkovo from Sochi and Mineralnye Vody
- Donavia, the Aeroflot subsidiary, launched five new routes on 30 October; two domestic and three international. The airline now flies daily to St Petersburg (LED) from both Adler/Sochi (AER) and Mineralnye Vody (MRV) in the south of the country. From Sochi, competition comes from sister airline Rossiya’s also daily flights as well as UTair’s four flights a week, while the same two airlines compete with each daily flights on the Mineralnye Vody route. The latter airport, located in North Caucasus, also got three international connections on the same day. Three weekly flights were launched to Baku (GYD), competing with Azerbaijan Airlines’ flights with the same frequency. The twice-weekly flights to Tashkent (TAS) compete with Uzbekistan Airlines’ weekly service. Services to Yerevan (EVN) are operated twice-weekly and compete with UTair’s three flights a week and a twice-weekly service on Armavia.
