Air China links Beijing with Thai holiday resort of Phuket
Holiday feeling with a fruity cake and champagne above the clouds – Air China’s first passengers and crew celebrate the new route to Phuket.
- Air China has introduced flights from Beijing (PEK) to Thai holiday resort island of Phuket (HKT). Flights will operate four times weekly using 757-200s and direct competition will be provided by Hainan Airlines, which currently provides three weekly flights. Other services between Mainland China and Phuket include Hainan Airlines from Hangzhou, Shanghai Airlines from Shanghai (double daily), and Sichuan Airlines from Chongqing.
