RAK Airways adds two new routes to Kuwait and Peshawar

  • RAK Airways, which is the national airline of Ras Al-Khaimah (one of the seven states in the United Arab Emirates), has launched a further two routes from its Ras Al-Khaimah (RKT) base, to Peshawar (PEW) in Pakistan, and Kuwait City (KWI). Kuwait will be served daily while Peshawar gets two weekly flights. Since June, the airline has added new routes to Doha, Khartoum and Lahore. With these latest two routes, the airline now serves a total of 10 destinations from Ras Al-Khaimah, five to the east and five to the west. Sheikh Salem Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, RAK Airways’ Vice Chairman, said: “The launch of RAK Airways Kuwait flights is in keeping with our commitment to expand our route network and further enhance our high-value offering to our customers. I would like to extend my appreciation to the Kuwaiti authorities and Kuwait International Airport officials for warmly welcoming the launch of RAK Airways Kuwait route.”
