REDjet launches new route from Georgetown to Antigua

  • REDjet, the Caribbean low-cost airline based in Barbados, continued expanding its network on 22 November. The airline now flies from Guyana’s capital Georgetown (GEO) to Antigua (ANU) twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The 1,240-kilometre route is operated with the airline’s 149-seat MD80 aircraft. The route has not been operated non-stop since BWIA dropped it in 1998.
