easyJet launches new routes from Basel to the Canaries and UK to Alps

  • easyJet launched five new routes in the last week. From Basel (BSL) on the Swiss/French/German border, the low-cost airline began operating two new routes to the Canary Islands, while the two new UK-originating routes are ski services to the French and Austrian Alps. The service between the French capital’s main airport Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Bologna (BLQ) in northern Italy stands out for being the route launched with the highest frequency; six weekly flights in competition with Air France’s 34 flights a week.
