Cake of the Week: Condor’s Frankfurt to San Juan
A giant cake of Puerto Rico was on offer at Frankfurt Airport when Condor launched flights to San Juan on the Caribbean island. Ralf Teckentrup, CEO Condor, and Stefan Schulte, CEO Frankfurt Airport, cut the cake for the first passengers to enjoy, before cutting the ribbon for the new twice-weekly service.
- Condor, the German leisure airline in Thomas Cook Group, relaunched services from its Frankfurt (FRA) base to San Juan (SJU) in Puerto Rico on 21 December. Flights operate twice-weekly with 270-seat 767-300ER aircraft. Condor previously operated the transatlantic route between 1994 and 2003. Other previous operators are Avianca (2000-2001) and Lufthansa (1981-1989).
