SAS launches new route to Manchester Airport from Bergen in Norway

  • SAS rearranged its UK network out of Bergen (BGO) in western Norway on 6 January when the pan-Scandinavian national carrier dropped its route to London Gatwick, which faced direct competition from Norwegian, and instead serves Manchester (MAN) in northern England. The route was last operated by Norwegian in 2006-2007 and prior to that by SAS’ regional subsidiary Wideroe 2003-2004.
