Cimber Sterling launches regional route to Smaland in Sweden
- Cimber Sterling, the Danish airline rebranding as a regional carrier, expanded its network out of Copenhagen (CPH) on 26 March when it launched six weekly flights to Växjö (VXO) in neighbouring Sweden’s Småland region. The 200-kilometre route is operated with 50-seat CRJ200 aircraft in cooperation with SAS, enabling connections at the Scandinavian flag carrier’s Copenhagen hub. All of the 15 passengers on the first flights from Smaland Airport had onward connections.
