NordStar Airlines add services to Abakan and Barnaul from Krasnojarsk

  • On 26 March, the Russian airline NordStar Airlines launched new services from the Siberian city of Krasnojarsk (KJA) to Abakan (ABA) in neighbouring Khakassia, and to Barnaul (BAX), the capital of the Altai Krai region, which is located 660 kilometres south-west of Krasnojarsk. While at two flights a week, the Barnaul service operates with half the frequency of its Abakan counterpart, both destinations are served with ATR42 equipment. The airline, which itself is headquartered in the north-Siberian city of Norilsk, now serves a total of 12 domestic destinations from its Krasnojarsk base.
