KLM launches services from Amsterdam to Luanda

  • On 27 March, KLM added new African route to its network from Amsterdam (AMS), making Luanda (LAD) its 11th destinations on the continent. Amsterdam is the seventh European city to be directly linked to oil-rich Angola’s capital, which is now offered with twice-weekly frequencies. The new service adds to the also twice-weekly Air France schedule from Paris CDG, and consolidates the group’s domination of African markets in Europe. “Together with our partner Kenya Airways, we offer 89 flights a week between Europe and Africa, offering travellers a network that is as seamless as possible,” said Pieter Bootsma, KLM’s EVP Marketing, Revenue Management and Network.
