Transavia.com links Amsterdam and Seville
- Air France/KLM’s in-house LCC Transavia.com has launched a new route from its main Amsterdam (AMS) base to Seville (SVQ) in Spain. Flights will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for much of the summer season, although not apparently between 6 July and 3 September. The Spanish LCC Vueling also operates three weekly non-stop flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) on this route during the summer season, starting on 26 April. According to AENA statistics, in 2011 the Amsterdam – Seville route was flown by just 21,931 passengers whereas 41,443 passengers flew between Seville and Eindhoven with Ryanair.
