China Eastern launches flights from Hangzhou to Jeju
- On 9 April, China Eastern inaugurated flights from Hangzhou (HGH) in the Yangtze River Delta region of eastern China to Jeju (CJU), which serve the South Korean island bearing the same name. The 700-kilometre route is offered with twice-weekly frequencies and operated using A320s. There is no competition on the route, which is also the first service to South Korea to be offered by the airline.
