China Airlines launches 11th route to Japan from Taipei

China Airlines’ new route from Taipei Taoyuan to Toyama – the airline’s 11th route from the Taiwanese airport to Japan – was celebrated by Chen Jian-Cheng, deputy head National Immigration Agency of Taiwan; Reijiro Hattori, Director Interchange Association Japan; China Airlines’ President Sun Huang-Hsiang; Liu Zhao-Syuan president of the General Association of Chinese Culture; and Wei Shen-Jhih, Taoyuan Airport Vice President.

  • China Airlines expanded its Japanese network on 16 April out of its Taipei Taoyuan (TPE) hub. The Taiwanese airline now flies twice-weekly to Toyama (TOY) on central Japan’s east coast. The route, which is operated with the airline’s 158-seat 737-800s, is China Airlines’ 11th route to Japan out of Taoyuan.
