Zest Air launches new route from Manila to Jinjiang in China
On 26 April, the Philippine low-cost carrier Zest Air inaugurated its first route to China out of the carrier’s base in the Philippine capital Manila (MNL). Thrice-daily frequencies are offered on the 1,200-kilometre route to Jinjiang (JJN) in the south-eastern Chinese province of Fujian. Flights are operated with 180-seat A320s. Zest Air does not face any direct competition on the route. Shanghai Pudong is the only other Mainland China destination in Zest Air’s network and is offered from Kalibo on Panay Island.
