Mandala Airlines continues expanding internationally with Kuala Lumpur route
- Mandala Airlines, the Indonesian low-cost airline relaunched in cooperation with Tiger Airways of Singapore, continued expanding its network on 4 May with the launch of flights between Jakarta (CGK) and Kuala Lumpur (KUL). Flights initially operate daily, increasing to twice-daily next month. Competition between the Indonesian and Malaysian capitals comes from Malaysia Airlines’ 42, Indonesia AirAsia’s 28, Garuda Indonesia’s 21, AirAsia’s 21, Lion Air’s 14, KLM’s seven, Kuwait Airways’ three and Yemenia’s two weekly flights.
