Palau Airways commences operations with Taipei route

Celebrating the launch of the airline Palau Airways was the its GM Andy Lee along with cabin crew from the start-up carrier.   • Palau Airways is a new start-up airline in Palau, the Micronesian island nation located just east of the Philippines. From its base in Koror (ROR), the airline now flies three times weekly to Taipei Taoyuan (TPE), a distance of 2,400 kilometres, with its single 206-seat all-economy 757-200. In June, frequencies will increase to four times weekly. Competition comes from China Airlines’ four weekly flights.
