Norwegian expands in Denmark as Cimber Sterling files for bankruptcy

Cake of the Week:
Norwegian’s Copenhagen to Bratislava

Cutting the Lego cake that welcomed Norwegian’s first flight from Copenhagen to Bratislava were the Slovakian capital airport’s CEO, Maros Jancula, and the Danish Ambassador to Slovakia, Anita Hugau. The Ambassador was then surprised to find that the captain operating the flight was her nephew, who joined in cutting the ribbon.

Aalborg’s much anticipated new route to Berlin – a destination it has sought in the Route Shop – has now launched on Norwegian. Cutting the ribbon for the new service were Henning G. Jensen, Chairman of Aalborg Airport and Mayor of Aalborg, and Johan Bisgaard Larsen, Norwegian’s Head of Marketing for Denmark.
