Ryanair launches operations at Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands

Groningen welcomed Ryanair’s three new routes – one of which was launched in the week analysed in this issue of anna.aero – with this suitcase cake. The airport in northern Netherlands is now connected with Milan Bergamo twice-weekly. Enjoying pieces of the cake were Jana Skornicka, Ryanair’s Sales & Marketing Executive, and Monique Clarisse, Marketing & Sales Manager, Groningen Airport Eelde. The first flight arrived with 101 passengers.

  • Ryanair launched five new routes in the last week. Notably, Groningen (GRQ) in the Netherlands, which just got a connection with Milan Bergamo (BGY), is a new destination for the ultra low-cost airline.
