Flybe commences new route from Southampton to Tours
- Flybe inaugurated services on the route from Southampton (SOU) on the southern UK coast to Tours (TUF) in central France on 16 May. Flights are now available with a twice-weekly frequency seasonally until mid-September, and are operated with Q400s. This is notably Flybe’s 11th route to France from Southampton. Southampton Airport’s MD Dave Lees commented: “Tours is expected to be a popular destination for holidaymakers from the South East looking to enjoy the beautiful Loire Valley and we’re thrilled to be able to offer this regular Flybe service. It will also give those living in and around Tours a convenient route into the UK this summer for the various sporting and cultural celebrations, thanks to our excellent onward transport links.”
