Jet2.com launches new routes from Manchester; adds Ibiza from Glasgow
- Jet2.com, the British low-cost accier, launched weekly services from Glasgow (GLA) in Scotland to Ibiza (IBZ) in Spain’s Balearic Islands on 18 May. On the same day, also weekly fights were launched from Manchester (MAN) in northern England to the Croatian coastal town of Pula (PUY), followed by thrice-weekly services to from Manchester to Toulouse (TLS) in southern France a day later. The airline faces competition on two out of the three routes. The market to Ibiza is served by Thomson’s two and Thomas Cook’s one weekly frequency. Additionally, Thomson operates weekly services on the route to Croatia.
