- On 19 May, Russia’s OrenAir commenced low frequency services from Novosibirsk (OVB) in Siberia to Düsseldorf (DUS) in western Germany. The new route is offered with weekly frequency and operated with 737-800s. This seasonal service ends on 15 September and is the airline’s only route operated from Novosibirsk. OrenAir already serves Düsseldorf from four other Russian airports; Orenburg since 2009, with Omsk and Chelyabinsk added in 2010, and Barnaul in 2011.
