UTair launches two domestic routes
- UTair launched two new domestic Russian routes in the last week. On 30 May, the airline began flying from Syktyvkar (SCW) in northern Russia to Anapa (AAQ) on the Black Sea coast. The weekly flights are operated seasonally with 737-500 aircraft until mid-September, competing with Nordavia’s twice-weekly flights. On 2 June, UTair expanded its network out of Moscow Vnukovo (VKO) by adding a weekly service to Beloyarsk (EYK) in northwestern Siberia with Yak 42 aircraft. Competition comes from Gazpromavia’s twice-weekly flights.
